Statement:
The Sixth Interethnic Interfaith Leadership Conference will be held in Los Angeles, CA. This will be a close-door conference, and by invitation only.
Conference Overview:
The Annual Interethnic/Interfaith Leadership Conference enjoys a long tradition of building trust, understanding, and cooperation between regional, ethnic, and religious groups of contemporary China. Given the theme of Cultures, Religions and Universal Values, the Sixth Conference will follow the assembly of our last Conference, which was held in October 2009 in Washington DC, during which a unanimous Declaration of Unity pledged “cooperation and respect for the differences between ethnic groups”. Under the guidance of trained facilitators, delegates will explore specific solutions for common obstacles to their goals and experience the power of teamwork, cooperation, and mutual respect for realizing their aspirations. Delegates will also hear from distinguished leaders of government, academia, and the NGO community.
研習營概述：
族群及宗教間青年領袖研習營有著促進中國各地區、種族和宗教組織之間信任、了解和合作的優良傳統。遵循上屆研習營的精神，我們將以文化、宗教和普世價值為本屆主題；二零零九年十月在華盛頓特區舉行的上屆研習營一致通過了一個聯合宣言，決心加強“各族群組織間的合作和尊重不同意見。”在訓練有素的專家們幫助下，代表們將一起探索尋找共同問題的具體解決方案，體驗團隊力量、合作和相互尊重，以實現我們的理想和目標。代表們還將聽取來自政府學術界以及非政府組織的領袖嘉賓的演講。
